Day Dreaming Of 10mbs Internet....

I am currently at Mcdonalds using their free WiFi and drinking what is my personal favorite coffee that can be bought to go. I wanted to get some things off my chest because I don't have any internet at home which is what I wanted to talk about first....

FUCK AT&T

They cut my internet service off on Saturday because according to them the password on the account did not match a password for the router. The stupid thing about it all is that they are the ones that told me to change the password! and because I did they told me there was a inconsistency in passwords. NO SHIT. I have been putting up with them for the longest time and they have always screwed me over when it came to customer service having to wait for the longest times to talk to a person and don't even get me started on the automated voice that answers when you first call that can't seem to understand the simplest commands, Just press 0 to talk to a person..... eventually. Their costumer service line has been down all day and when i was able to get through they had already closed. I plan to cancel service and get a major upgrade to Cable internet which means a max speed of 10Mbs which means higher quality and less compressed videos can be rendered. 1 Gig file can be uploaded in 100 seconds, 1 min and 40 seconds. Right now super compressed 89 megabyte file takes over an hour easily.

Spring semester started today and I have to say that it gets to me that there are so many people at the school that I got to the campus are 20 min early and was 7 min late because I was looking for parking, but what really gets to me is how many people there are over crowding the school that will eventually drop all their classes. I really do think that ELAC should be a little more selective of the people they let back in the school after dropping so many times because it's a giant cluster fuck. Nothing will change.... Home girl that got pregnant in High school will be there trying to turn her life around but will drop and Home boy will be talking to his other home boys about all the classes he has only to drop those and leave and come back next semester and do it all over again. They are the ones that are asked to introduce theme selves in class and say "This is my 4th year at ELAC" [I've seen this happen every semester I have been at ELAC with more than one person] and I am not talking about the home girls/boys that actually go there and do work, transfer and do something with their lives, I am strictly talking about the ones that are in a cycle of just quitting. It does not help that education there is essentially free with a fee waiver.

On some cool Channel 9 fam news we were recently contacted by a blog that seems to have a decent following and the person would like to feature us on the blog. I have been excited and will have to do a little work on a previous video so that it is more.... "Family Friendly" but I am having trouble with this because I would have change some shots that I was very content with and I would have to edit some of Alds words as well which is not ideal, but we will see how that goes.

That is it for now, I have some videos to upload to the LockedIndeepThought channel but can't because of lack of internet and can't from Mcdonalds relatively slow connection.

With fall semester coming to an end I just wanted to say some things about my professors

To My (Former) Math Professor:

Fuck you, you are an insecure incompetent professor that should be fired and even though my complaint won't do anything I hope you get the message. Learn to teach because at least 4 times during each class session you would mess up a problem that I or another student would have to call you out on and you always gave the same bull shit excuse "see I do that to test you" What you really do is mess everything the student has been trying to learn from you.

To My Child Development Professor:

Get your shit together. You say you are going to check something one day, don't, and check it on a random day? You are a horrible professor and I find it Ironic that you offered extra credit if you watched Waiting For 'Superman' and are an absolute TERRIBLE teacher. You play VHS videos that were made in the fucking 1980's, are sexist and stereotypes about boys and girls growing up. I don't want to trust a video that says MRI is a latest technology....

To My Astronomy professor:

You are a cool, fun and interesting person to listen and watch, but you lectures do not follow the book you use in order and because of that the students need to read and understand the entire book to be prepared for any of your exams. Not cool.

To My Biology Professor:

You have been my favorite, you are nice and informative, but you should not be here at ELAC.... on more than one occasion you mentioned how badly this school is supplied and I will always remember the time I was asking if we had masks for a lab and you laughed in a sad way and said "I wish...."

This semester Sucked hard.... I don't blame any one for my mistakes, but people that don't like what they do or do what they do bad throw me off. I know I can't always have the perfect professor, but some are just so god damn bad. Need to get my grade bars up during winter session.

I look around the school I go to and more and more I look at the people, buildings, environment, everything and can't help but think to my self "I don't belong here" and I really feel that I don't. I wish I could leave now because more now than ever I am starting to hate that school as much as my high school.

Every house on this block has more than two cars and for some reason refuse to use their drive ways. Because of this it is hard to find parking after work is generally out and week ends, I have to park a block a way and walk home.

Alright, as of now ima start to try and get a short film off every week, just to get something done.... YES I will, alright, need ideas. Don't expect anything crazy or well structured, but it will be video.

I'm official tired of being "That Guy" you know, THAT guy, know what I mean? Maybe, but most likely not because I am being very vague and stupid about what I'm trying to say. Anyways..... It seems that I have found a way to properly balance my school schedule and social life. I have been trying to figure this out for a while organizing my time so that I would have a good amount of time to study [thanks to hardcore phone-off study sessions at the Library] and to hang out with Nancy, film and friends. Now that I think I have gotten a hang of this it's time to really try and get things going while I'm here because the time to Transfer is coming sooner than I think.....

I need to get this blog back on a more consistent posting cycle. I really just don't like writing so much because I suck at it.

Sorry for the darkness, but at least there were those awesome tiki torches behind us that set the mood for our music as well as scared the shit out of us when any strong gust of wind came our way. Just in case it seems like it’s also not as loud as usual, we also had to play very softly during this gig since it was outside and around a residential area.

I could not resist

Two days into summer classes and I know with out doubt I can pass all of these and get the credits, but the only thing that can be a problem is keeping those grades at A's which should not be THAT incredibly hard. I know I got one A for sure, I just need to lift weights for 15 hours and I am good!

Life right now is good even though I got a shit load of work ahead, but I know it will be more than worth the it in the end.

So.... I added 3 classes for summer because I have changed my mind on just going to a Cal State, I want to have the option of going to a UC and because A class I took my first semester was only cal state transferable, I have to make up for it. Down Side of the three classes is that I will spend most of my day in class for 5 weeks plus the work, up side, I will have 9 units added to what I have already. I know in my head it will be worth it in the long run, I just have to get through it all.

If you ever wondered, the name of this Blog came straight from a line off the Blue Scholars Joe Metro. That song gives me chills and I am taken back to a completely different time, I always love it when something can do that, that sense of Nostalgia.. don't get me wrong though, I don't wish to go back to that time and relive it all, I don't miss it, but I do appreciate that short time I am stuck in the past in my mind. Now why did I chose "Locked In Deep Thought"? well that line stuck out to me the first time I herd it, and it still does because a lot of times I am locked in deep thought, more often than I want to be. I over think everything, think about it some more and than think about all the possible out comes , always expecting the absolute worst, if you have not read it some where here before, I am cynical, that is who I am, I can't be optimistic nor do I want to, but no disrespect to those who always are because that is you, be you and I will be me.

This is a random thought that popped into my head about friendships, I think that you are the best of friends with some one when you know so much about them, you can make them cry if you ever got into an argument because you know all the secrets, you know what to say to really poke their hearts. Not a nice thought right? But then you would not do that to a friend if that bond was that strong. I know I would not.

I need to change shit in my life, I was so sure in the direction I was going till recently, the logical side tells me to stay in school and do this work, graduate and get a job, but I have passions, passions I want to per sue but that logical part of me keeps me from giving it my all which in return affects my school work since I am dedicating time to both.

one thing I know is that my grammar sucks, I hope who ever reads this is able to look any mistakes and still get what I am trying to say. Just like my last few essays in English " Ideas are insightful and thesis is in focus, but several sentences contain grammatical errors."

I could go on about Nujabes for pages and pages but I wont. Instead I will keep it brief and say that he was by far my favorite producer and surly one of my favorite artist. I remember talking to a class mate about music when he said "I like anything but Hip-Hop" and like a lot of people he thought that the only type of Hip-Hop that existed was on the radio, here in Los Angles Power 106. I then took out my phone and played "Reflection Eternal" and told him about Nujabes, he listen and sure enough loved it. I don't think any artist could have done that so quickly. This cat along with some brothers and sisters have been living on my block, I feed them and so do some neighbors, they are street cats. No idea why my bro named this one Magnito Jr (Magz J for short) but he is by far the Coolest Cat on the block!

here you have Cheedah (Gold and White) who is the Leader, but still young, under a year and with him you have Ink Blot (Middle) and August Rush (Left)

Some times it all seems like a dream, I never really thought I would go any where with Film and Editing, I just though I would keep as a very close hobby of mine, making people laugh and having fun with it all but.... Shit man, still hard to believe that I am working with Dumbfoundead and Brian Lee (Cain Mosni) and again I have to thank them both. I got to meet and talk to two of my favorite artist, Bambu and Geologic, Dumbfoundead interviewed them both, I recorded them and edited one already and you can view that here

Good Early Ass Morning Y'all! I took a Nap after working on my essay for a while to rest my mind, I planned to get up around 3 to finish it up, almost done, just need the conclusion. So, back in Jr year Ald and I had Chemistry, we also had the same science class that happened to be chemistry.
